All hell broke loose this morning which actually made for a more tolerable day at work today. Half the class ended up a time out due mostly to fighting and violent outbursts; most of them stayed there for the rest of the day which left us with four of the better behaved students. It's kind of nice when the really messed up kids get themselves removed from the classroom. Doesn't help them much, but it makes my job easier :)

I've decided to start reading and posting on livejournal again. For those of you who don't already know, I'm living in Williamsburg with Fretz and Andrew Chirstiansen at least until next August. I currently have a job in Hamptom as Counselor II at Rivermont School. I assist the teacher with 6th-7th students who have emotional difficulties. I also get to teach Social Skills and PE even though I don't have any teaching certification whatsoever.
This week, I plan to introduce the kids to Hero System so that they can learn how to work as a team to blast their problems away.

Dizzy Spells

Been extremely suspectible to dizziness today. My head starts spinning just from simply sitting to lying down as if I had been twirling circles as fast as I possibly can. Had about 5-6 episodes in the morning, fortunately none at work (though I'm lucky if I get a chance to sit down, lying down on the job is simply unheard of). Experienced more dizzyness shortly before writing this. The dizzyness doesn't bother me as much as what this might indicate corcerning my health

Had four hours of sleep. Felt like enough though. Been kind of sick for last couple of days. Probably got another half hour in Worlds of Music class. Video of Mideastern songs very hypnotic. Been at Daily Grind after finishing rehearsal today at midnight. Stayed until 1:30am and then talked outside not too far from Grind with Emily, CJ, and Tim. Very busy day today. Hardly one unplanned for hour until midnight and then the day was technically over, but I'm still awake. Have acquired new state of sleep deprivation awareness. Almost beyond hypersensitive active. I can hardly do any action without repeating it several times over. Almost like the jerks I tend to get in my left arm. Kind of related to the cohesiveness of my thoughts are my movements. Mostly just my arms and hands. Not accurate for target I'm aiming at so the motion needs repeating to get the action completed. Can sit still if I try, but anytime I want to I move more than I should need to. Not too sleepy at the moment, but could fall asleep quickly enough if I tried. My hands seem to have acquired an autopilot mode where they keep repeating the last action I was contemplating before my mind wander to somewhere else. I'm also easily amused, but that's not very new at all.

I found out that it is quite hard to feel properly depressed whilst one is uncomfortable. Instead of feeling anguish deep from within one's soul, one feels mildly irritated by one's current environment. Conflict of the abstract and concrete.

I'm too tired to actually move to the comfortable seats at the moment. Plus, there's no power outlet near them.
I probably would be just fine if I got some sleep, but I have just a couple more things to do.

The music's fine, but why the helll is the wall shaking?!
How am I supposed to have a proper back rest with a quivering wall?
The floor looks nice.

*sigh*

Now I can properly angst in peace.
